Dr. Laura Betancur
Dr. Lorraine Maloney was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and raised in sunny South Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida International University before heading to California to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she returned to South Florida to complete her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry through the University of Florida’s satellite residency program in Naples.
As a board-certified pediatric dentist and proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Dr. Maloney is dedicated to helping children build healthy smiles and positive relationships with dental care from an early age. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, stress-free environment where every child feels safe, confident, and excited to visit the dentist. With a special interest in behavior guidance and preventive dentistry, Dr. Maloney believes every appointment is an opportunity to educate, encourage, and empower children and their families.
Known for her gentle demeanor, warm personality, and compassionate approach, Dr. Maloney enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and making each dental visit a fun, comfortable, and positive experience.
Outside the office, Dr. Maloney enjoys traveling, attending concerts, exploring new cultures, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also loves visiting theme parks, trying new restaurants, and wearing her colorful collection of fun socks around the office—a favorite conversation starter that helps put young patients at ease.
